5 REASONS WHY WATER IS THE BEST DRINK


It is summer time now plus were stuck in our house doing nothing so we often tend to forget our water needs.🌞
We mostly drink water only when we are thirsty, but the reality is when we drink water when we feel thirsty we are already 2 hours late and our body is dehydrated . It takes two hours for anything you drink to have an effect on you body. Even if you drink water immediately after you feel thirsty you will still remain dehydrated for 2 hours. 



So it is very important to drink water even if you are not thirsty even a little sip is cool. The important thing is to keep your body hydrated




60% of our body weight is made up of water. It is required in each and every cell and for every reaction to happen. If we do not hydrate ourselves we may be compromising our health.



Here are some reasons why 8 glass of water

1. Helps to maximize physical performance


Drinking plenty of water during exercise is necessary to balance the sweat you lose during exercise
It helps increase power , strength and endurance
it also cleanses the intestine and colon, flushing out the toxins



2. Stay hydrated increases the brain activity


Water is an important carrier of blood and oxygen. If your body is hydrated your brain gets enough oxygen to function



3. Drinking more water help relieve constipation


It helps in easy bowel moments and removal of stools
drinking water helps in removal of toxic substances




4. Drinking plenty of water helps you lose weight


Drinking water makes your stomach full and helps to reduce the amount of calories that you eat- especially when you drink water half hour before any meal. Sometime when we feel hungry it is just because we are dehydrated. Next time instead of binge eating, drink a glass of water!



5. Prevent kidney problems


Because kidneys don’t function without water. Drinking water can help keep kidneys healthy, although it will not cure kidney disease.



So here's a trick πŸ˜‰ . It is easy to keep myself hydrated when I track the intake



First glass- 7:00 AM - as soon as I wake-up

this glass boosts your metabolism and help you detox


Second glass- 8.30 AM- before starting my work-

this glass supplies energy for the day


Third glass- 11:30 AM- or 1 hour before lunch

This glass is for moisturizing and a positive mindset


Fourth glass- 1:30 PM- or 1 hour after lunch

this glass fills you with energy


Fifth glass- 5:30 PM

this glass removes the tiredness


Sixth glass- 7:30 PM or 1 hour before dinner

this glass reduces fatigue and moisturizes your body


Seventh glass- 9:00 PM or half hour after dinner

this is the best time for metabolism


Eight glass- 11:00 PM- just before sleep

To get ready for a good night sleep



You can set alarm in your phone or there are many apps available on play-store that notify you to drink water at the specified time. I initially used those apps so to develop a habit, but now I am used to it
